Symptoms of Prostatic Adenocarcinoma and Duodenal Adenocarcinoma

Adenocarcinoma of the prostate starts in the prostate, a gland located below the bladder in men. Prostate Adenocarcinoma is usually diagnosed early before the cancer cells metastasize. Prostatic tumor may metastasize to other organs, such as the brain, lungs, liver, bones, and lymph nodes.

If you have been diagnosed with prostatic adenocarcinoma, you may experience the following symptoms:

  • Fatigue
  • Painful urination
  • Decreased urination force
  • Bone pain
  • Blood in semen
  • Swelling in the legs

Duodenal adenocarcinoma is a rare and aggressive type of Adenocarcinoma that starts in the small intestine. It can metastasize to other parts of the digestive system.

Some symptoms of adenocarcinoma of the duodenum include:

  • Abdominal pain
  • Anemia (low red blood cell counts)
  • Nausea [2]
  • Vomiting
  • Weakness or fatigue
  • Jaundice (yellowing of the skin or whites of the eyes)
  • Dark-colored stools
