You may experience the following symptoms if a paraneoplastic syndrome affects your central nervous system (spinal cord, brain) and your peripheral nervous system (nerves located outside the CNS):

  • Reduced reflexes, sensation, or coordination
  • Dizziness
  • Double vision
  • Loss of feeling in your arms and legs
  • Speech difficulty
  • Memory loss
  • Seizures
  • Muscle weakness
