Shingles
Someone who has already had chickenpox [6] is susceptible to developing shingles in the future. This is due to the fact that the same virus, which might reactivate, causes both ailments.
Shingles cause inflammation in the vicinity and in a portion of the nerves. This may cause feelings of:
- tingling
- burning
- numbness
Chest pain may result from shingles if it damages the nerves in the chest. Usually, shingles only affect one side of the body.
One area may experience discomfort and sensitivity along with a fever in the early stages. Later on, it will turn into an uncomfortable, scratchy rash.
