Eat More Fiber

Fiber is great for digestion because it improves bowel movement by increasing the bulk and consistency of stool. This makes the stool move through the intestines faster.
If you have constipation, adding more fiber to your diet can help relieve your symptoms. On review of studies found that up to 77 percent [6] of chronically constipated people experienced relief after increasing their fiber intake.
Not all types of fiber are equally effective in relieving constipation. There are two main categories of fiber called insoluble fiber and insoluble fiber. Both are often present in fiber-rich foods, but in different ratios. Non-fermentable soluble fiber [7] is the best for constipation.
