Glaucoma

Blurry vision is also a symptom of glaucoma, a condition in which excess pressure in the eyes destroys the optic nerve. A study was done by the national eye institute that revealed, the risk of having glaucoma is increased if you have diabetes.
Glaucoma is referred to as the silent thief of sight. There are usually no symptoms that cause tunnel vision. It is impossible to restore vision if it is lost due to glaucoma. In most cases, drugs and surgery are used to impede the progress of glaucoma [5].
Glaucoma can be manifested in several ways, they are:
- Halos around lights
- Nausea [6] or vomiting
- Loss of peripheral vision or tunnel
- Ocular (eye) pain
- Reddening of the eye
