Angina Signs & Symptoms

Anxiety

Anxiety [6] causes symptoms such as tachycardia, dizziness, and physical pain, similar to those of cardiovascular diseases. At the same time, cardiovascular diseases themselves can cause anxiety, and this can sometimes be confused with normal anxiety caused by fear. When anxiety is associated with chest pain, this can be a very good sign of angina pectoris.  As most of the symptoms can appear the same, individuals that have panic attacks [7] sometimes think their anxiety is a heart attack. Breathlessness, tightness in the chest, sweating, and a racing pulse, dizziness, and even extreme tiredness or temporary paralysis may accompany both conditions.
