Different tests take different time:
- HCV Antibody Test: The results for this test will take anywhere from 1 day to several weeks to get back, based upon the laboratory doing the testing.
- Rapid Anti-HCV Test: In some instances, your doctor may give you a rapid anti-HCV test instead of a standard HCV antibody test. The rapid test gives in-office results in 30 minutes or less.
- NAT for HCV RNA Test and HCV Genotype Test: These results may take anywhere from one day to several weeks to get back, based upon the testing facility used.
