Natural Remedies for Scleroderma

Causes of Scleroderma

In scleroderma, there is an overabundance of scar tissue production, which results in hard hands and organ tissue as well as reduced blood flow to your extremities. Your cells produce an excessive amount of collagen when you have scleroderma, as if you were damaged and needed to replace dead skin. Consequently, the excess collagen in your tissues keeps your skin and organs from operating as they should.

You cannot contract scleroderma; it is not a communicable disease. Scientists are unsure of the specific reason, but we do know that it is an autoimmune illness, meaning that it develops when the body starts attacking its own healthy cells.
