Initial Signs of Shingles

Initial signs [7] of shingles may occur several days before the more noticeable symptoms appear. Some individuals may not, however, have early symptoms until a rash occurs.
One part of the body or face has the most frequent early signs. In the abdominal region, this also occurs. Most have these symptoms:
-
numbness/Insensitivity
-
Itching [8]
-
Burning pain
-
Tingling
The discomfort may intensify as shingles progress. The pain can be severe, stabbing and sharp. Hypersensitivity, or an abnormal response to touch, may also be start to manifest. Other early signs of shingles may also be present.
