Signs & Symptoms of Shingles

Recovery Period of Shingles

A shingles rash can occur on one side of the body after around 1 to 5 days, typically in a single distinctive band on one side of the chest or face. The painful rash would then develop blister-like sores that are itchy or burning and filled with a clear fluid. In 7 to 10 days, the blisters may start to become scab.  Before completely vanishing, they will steadily get smaller. Symptoms of a shingles rash typically last from 2 to 4 weeks.
