Keep your groin dry

Fungi thrive in warm, humid places. When you have tinea cruris, it is best to keep your groin area dry [2] as often as possible to prevent the fungi from multiplying. Shower often, especially after sweaty exercise, and dry your groin using a towel. Avoid using the same towel to wipe down other parts of your body. If you have a blow drier, use it to dry your groin after toweling.
You can also apply powder to your groin to help absorb moisture. If powders are unavailable or you would prefer not to use them, several sprays and gels can soak up moisture from your groin too. You can purchase these at your local pharmacy or store.
