Peach Fuzz Removal: How to Get Rid of Peach Fuzz

Face depilatories

Depilatories are gels that contain chemicals or creams. They are used to remove small hairs by dismantling keratin fibres in the hair. Depilatories also contain chemicals known as thioglycolate which degrade keratins. Your hair dissolves when this method is used. You must consider the products before applying depilatory to your skin. After applying it, you must leave it on the skin for some seconds before wiping or washing it away.

It would help if you only used depilatories designed for the face. Some of its sided effects include:

  • Burning
  • Blistering [1]
  • Itching
  • Stinging
  • Peeling

Avoid using depilatories on broken, sensitive, or inflamed skin. Experts advise people to do a patch test on a small portion of the skin. The patch test must be done before using a depilatory, and on the same part, you want to use it.  The primary aim of the test is to ensure you are not allergic to the compositions of the depilatory. It is important to follow the instructions on the product. In some cases, you may experience stings or burns on the skin: you must rinse the product off immediately if any of these happens.
