Drink Lots of Water and Sleep Well

Taking lots of water is beneficial to the health generally and to the skin. Taking of water helps to keep the skin hydrated, which reduces dryness and dullness of the skin. It is advised to take at least 6-8 glasses of water daily to keep the body system hydrated.

Research has shown it is very important to have at least 7-9 hours of sleep on a daily basis. For individuals that have problems sleeping, there are some tips to aids sleeplessness, such as:

  • Do not eat heavy foods at night.
  • Stay away from any form of electronics an hour or two before the time to sleep.
  • Try to follow a regular pattern of going to bed and waking up, that is try to sleep and wake up at a particular time even during weekends.
  • Avoid any form of caffeine after lunch time.
  • Stress relaxing activities like bathing, meditation or reading before bedtime, makes it easy to fall asleep.
