What Are Tattoo Infections?
A tattoo is a permanent body modification done on the dermis layer of the skin to form various designs by the use of dyes, pigments or by inserting ink. Tattoos are becoming less controversial and more common in workplaces. However, as beautiful as a tattoo may seem when it is initially done, if it was done with unsterilized instruments or in an unclean environment it can lead to different skin irritations and infections which can cause harm to the person’s health generally. These infections may develop shortly after getting the tattoo, while some take a while to develop and become noticeable.
