Who Shouldn’t Get the Chickenpox Vaccine?

There are people who should not get the chickenpox vaccine. Here are some factors that require you to not get the vaccine:
- If you are pregnant or suspect pregnancy
- If you are allergic to the vaccine or to any part of the vaccine.
- If you have tuberculosis [7]
- Have problems with your immune system.
- If you recently had blood transfusion or any other live vaccines
- If you aren’t feeling well. (Get the vaccine when you feel better.)
Talk with your healthcare provider about whether or not you should be vaccinated.
