Diagnosis

Early diagnosis is imperative to making sure you get effective treatment. This usually prevents scarring and limitations of movement, which may occur after present breakouts. It would help to contact a dermatologist immediately if you experience any symptoms of Hidradenitis Suppurativa. They will examine your skin thoroughly and may swab some of your lesions if they are releasing fluid.
It would help to see a dermatologist if you have breakouts that:
- Are painful
- Don’t improve within a few weeks
- Appear in several locations on your body
- Return often
