Exercises for Two Types of Spinal Stenosis

Seated shoulder shrugs

This is one of the least demanding exercises for cervical spinal stenosis. It is performed while seated.

Follow these steps [7] to perform it:

  • Seat in a chair.
  • Pull your shoulder blades toward each other. This should pull them up.
  • Hold this position for one or two seconds.
  • Release your shoulders and lower them.
  • Repeat this exercise up to 20 times.
