If your body doesn’t get enough oxygen, you’ll probably be given oxygen or put on a noninvasive ventilator. You might require a breathing tube in extreme circumstances. If your breathing is good enough to acquire enough oxygen, these therapies aren’t necessary.
To increase blood flow to the heart and strengthen the heart, some people will require surgical procedures such an angioplasty or coronary bypass surgery. When all other options have failed, a heart transplant is the last resort.
