Dysuria
This is also known as painful urination. It refers to the experience of painful sensation while urinating. The pain or burning sensation makes urination very uncomfortable and some people may begin to hold in urine for longer periods. Dysuria is a common symptom for both men and women who have a bladder infection.
Urinary Frequency
This refers to the feeling of a need to urinate frequently or more frequently than usual. This symptom is seen in both men and women who have a bladder infection and in most cases, the urine passed out is too little but the urge to urinate remains frequent.
