Posture Check

Shoulder pains can be caused by bad posture when walking, sitting, sleeping and working (slouching at your seat); these bad postures can also exacerbate existing shoulder pains. To improve your posture, you can try the following things; avoid falling forward when sitting down, avoid resting on your arms when sitting, do not hold your shoulders tightly into the sides of your body, relax your shoulders, let your arms and forearms be on the sides of your body. Avoid remaining in one position for a long time, sit uprightly, use a pillow to support your lumbar area (lower back), use chairs that have lumbar support so your body can get used to the position quickly. Pillows are essential in improving postures when sleeping and sitting because they support and cushion the shoulder.
