Conclusion

Scoliosis is a condition that affects the spine. It causes the spine to curve sideways in an “S” shape, either to the right or left side. Contrary to popular opinion, this is not the same as kyphosis, where the spine has an abnormal curvature and is facing forward. It can occur in adults and children. It can be treated using surgical and nonsurgical methods. The treatment method used to treat the condition depends on the age, severity of the curve, and location.
