Fatigue

A tick bite can cause extreme tiredness, also known as fatigue. Tiredness, exhaustion, and a lack of energy are frequent symptoms in persons suffering from these allergies. This type of fatigue is not the same as stress-related fatigue because it can’t be linked to any physical activity. The tiredness can be overwhelming and affects your daily performance. The fatigue is usually severe, lasting up to several days.
Pain or Burning Sensation
The bull’s eye rash is often painless and without itch. However, when the infection spreads to the other parts of the body, it can cause a painful or burning sensation.
Swollen Lymph Nodes or Sore Throat
If you are bitten by an infected tick like the one carrying the borreliosis bacteria that causes Lyme disease, the bacterium may remain in the lymph nodes. The presence of invaders can trigger an immune response. This causes the lymph nodes to swell or inflame, but it doesn’t kill or reduce the potency of the bacterium.
If left untreated the lymph nodes can continue to enlarge and may cause long-term damage. Antibiotics are an effective medication for this condition.
