Inability to Recognize Objects or People
The patient with dementia may find it difficult to recognize objects and people through vision, although vision has not been compromised. Depending on the degree of the injury, the person may not even recognize faces anymore. Far beyond simple forgetfulness, as when words “flee” from our head, dementia makes it hard for people to recognize objects and situations present in everyday life and even people they see frequently.
