What Are the Symptoms of Knee Bursitis?

According to studies, the most common cause of Knee bursitis is infection, trauma, or repetitive irritation. The exact cause of the condition is unknown. However, experts believe that it can be caused by a wide variety of factors. Some of these factors include osteoarthritis [1], obesity [2], prolonged kneeling, and athletic injuries. Knee bursitis is usually accompanied by the following symptoms:

  • Swelling

The condition is associated with mild pain and kneeling pain. A symptom of knee bursitis that occurs during kneeling is stiffness. You may also feel pain when walking.
