Pelvic Pain
Bladder cancer does not typically cause pelvic pain. [7] This symptom is more common when the cancer has reached advanced stages and spread (metastasized) into surrounding organs. This pain is felt below the navel and may last for an extended period. Some last months. The pain may range from mild to severe.
As many conditions cause pelvic pain, you may not suspect bladder cancer immediately. Women are more likely to attribute it to something else because pelvic pain is not as unusual for them as it for men. If you experience pelvic pain, it is important to get it checked even if it may not be caused by bladder cancer.
