Painful Urination
As bladder cancer progresses, you may begin to experience pain when you urinate. [6] This is a nonspecific symptom that may be caused by several unrelated health problems such as kidney stones and urinary tract infections.
The pain associated with bladder cancer may be severe or mild. Often, it will cause a burning or stinging sensation when you pass urine. This pain may remain for a while even after you have peed. You may observe the source of the pain seems to be beyond your urethra.
