Symptoms of Liver Cancer

At the early-stage of liver cancer, patients may not exhibit any symptoms at all. Similar symptoms can be seen in intrahepatic cholangiocarcinoma (IHC) and hepatocellular carcinoma (HCC):
- A lump below your ribcage, right abdominal pain, an ache near your right shoulder.
- Jaundice (a condition that results in yellowing of the skin and eyes) [2].
- Unexpected appetite loss, sickness, or weight loss.
- Fatigue.
- Urine with a dark hue.
Unfortunately, very early liver cancer may not show any signs. If you are aware that you have a higher than average chance of developing liver cancer, talk to your doctor about having tests run to keep an eye on your liver and perhaps detect the disease early.
