If there is any suspicion that you might have cancer during pregnancy, your doctor would require that you take certain tests for an accurate diagnosis. These tests include:
X-ray
An X-ray involves low doses of radiation to create images of the inside of your body.
Although the level of radiation from an X-ray isn’t high enough to harm the unborn baby, it is still advisable to use a lead shield to cover the belly.
