Cataracts
People with cataracts can also experience blurry vision. The chances of having a cataract are higher in young people with diabetes than in old people. The lens of the eyes become cloudy, due to cataract. Other symptoms of cataract are:
- Faded colors
- Clouded or blurry vision
- Sensitivity to light
- Glare or halos around lights
- Double vision, usually in just one eye
- The vision that doesn’t improve with new glasses or prescription must be changed regularly
Asides from aging, cataracts are mostly caused by diabetes. They can be treated via surgery to improve vision.
