Lack of Exercise

Exercise is a very important activity that should be included in every person’s lifestyle. According to the studies by the American journal of gastroenterology [7], physical activity and exercise greatly reduce the risk of diverticulosis and its related complications.
It is very important that exercising is part of your daily routine. Exercising also helps make the passing of stools easier and enhances bowel movements. Taking a walk, jogging, and other simple routines would go a long way in helping your digestive system function better.
Conclusion
Diverticulosis is very preventable. By avoiding consuming too much red meat, adding a lot of fiber to your diet, exercising and some other lifestyle changes, a person can successfully be free from diverticulosis. Taking a lot of water and fluids is also good for the treatment and prevention of diverticulosis. Examples of tests used to diagnose this condition include colonoscopy, X-ray- lower GI tract, and Abdominal and pelvic CT.
