Abdominal Pain & Bloating
Abdominal pain occurs between the pelvic regions and the chest. This pain can be dull, colicky, achy, sharp or intermittent. It can also be called a stomach ache. Therefore, when there is persistent and significant pain in the stomach, it is one of the symptoms of diverticulosis.
Abdominal bloating is caused by the gastrointestinal tract  being filled with gas or air. In most cases, bloating comes with a feeling of tightness, fullness or swelling. The abdomen may also be painful, distended and hard. It may be accompanied by flatulence , pain, abdominal gurgles or rumbling and constant belching or burping.
