Magnesium [7] can also be helpful in the case of gallbladder pain, it helps in emptying the gallbladder, easing gallbladder spasm, and reducing the pain. Also lack of magnesium in the body can increase the risk of gallstone formation. To use, mix a teaspoon of magnesium powder in warm water to drink every few hours.
You can get magnesium powder in a pharmacy. There are also magnesium oral supplements that you can use. However, ensure you see your doctor to discuss appropriate dosages.
