Rapid Recurrent Gout Attacks

Most people with gout experience sudden attacks of severe pain in the affected joints. This attack may be triggered by a simple trauma, surgery, friction, stress, or it may have no obvious trigger. The attacks usually come at night and gradually increase in intensity.

Signs of Sleep Deprivation

Gouty attacks usually occur at night and can actually keep the patient awake the entire night. So it is not out of place to find a gout patient looking tired, sleep-deprived and stressed out every morning.

Fever and Other Symptoms of Flu
