Feverfew

Feverfew is a medicinal herb that is part of the same family as daisies, or the Asteraceae family. According to a case study, an individual taking large doses of feverfew (800 mg, thrice per day) developed vaginal bleeding and a longer menstrual cycle [5]. Blood coagulation may go back to normal when you stop taking feverfew. Doctors advise against taking feverfew before surgery or with blood-thinning drugs. More studies need to be done to understand how feverfew affects blood clotting. You can use feverfew by steeping the flowers and leaves in hot water to make tea. You can add it to savory pastries for a slightly bitter taste. Contact your doctor if you want to use it as a supplement in capsule or liquid form.
