Sweating

Sweating [11] more than normal may be an early warning sign of heart issues, particularly if you are not exercising or doing anything physically and actively engaging. It requires more work from your heart to pump blood through partially blocked arteries, so your body sweats more to try to keep your body temperature stable during the extra effort. Individuals with angina sometimes break out into cold sweat. You should contact your doctor if you experience a cold sweat or clammy skin along with all the other possible symptoms. For women that have heart problems, night sweats [12] are also a common symptom. Women may mistake this symptom for menopause. However, this may be a sign of a heart attack, especially in women, if you wake up and your sheets are soaked or you cannot sleep due to your sweating. Sweating especially at night is also a symptom of another heart-related disease known as subacute endocarditis.
