Avoid changing your position suddenly

Making sudden changes in your body position can cause your blood pressure to drop, so you should avoid doing so. Do not stand or sit suddenly if you have low blood pressure. This may cause dizziness [11] or even fainting if you have low blood pressure. Make transitions gentle so your blood pressure has enough time to catch up.
Use your medication
While dietary and lifestyle changes can help you manage blood pressure, these are often not enough. This is especially true if your blood pressure is quite low. Make sure to take the medications your doctor prescribes.
There are several drugs used to treat low blood pressure, such as fludrocortisone. This drug is used to treat orthostatic hypotension, a type of low blood pressure that is most pronounced when you stand up. Your doctor may also prescribe midodrine, which works by reducing [12] the ability of your blood vessels to expand.
