Symptoms of Right-sided heart failure
One typical and evident sign of right-sided heart failure is fluid retention, which results in edema in the lower limbs and occasionally the belly. However, a number of additional symptoms could appear:
- breathing difficulties, especially when lying down
- coughing, lightheadedness
- difficulties focusing, and disorientation
- low energy and fatigue
- unexpected weight gain
- reduced appetite
- Edema
- abdominal bloating
- altered urine
- unsettled stomach
