What Are the Symptoms of Eosinophilic Leukemia?

You can develop eosinophilic leukemia and not have any signs or symptoms. In most cases, it is first detected during routine blood tests. Some symptoms that can be observed are:

  • shortness of breath
  • muscle pain
  • diarrhea [3]
  • swelling under the skin (angioedema)
  • swollen lymph nodes
  • unintended weight loss

Also, the elevated levels of eosinophils in eosinophilic leukemia can affect the activities of organs like the heart, lungs, and gastrointestinal (GI) tract.
