Abdominal, joint, and muscle pain

Hepatitis B sometimes causes stomach pain [2]. The pain in the abdomen may be nonspecific and may be misread by an infected person. This infection also causes the muscles and joints to ache.
Fever
At the onset of the infection, you may develop a mild fever [3]. This is usually due to the immune system’s reaction to the virus.
Dark urine
Your urine should be clear. If it develops a dark color or takes on a yellow appearance even when you’re hydrated, you should see a doctor. It may be a sign of hepatitis B.
Loss of appetite, nausea, and vomiting
Hepatitis B can cause nausea and vomiting [4]. Vomiting requires spilling ingested food and water, nausea does not. Nausea leaves you with a sick feeling that makes you think you are about to vomit. It may or may not trigger vomiting. Some people experience loss of appetite [5] along with these symptoms.
