Fatty Liver (Hepatic Steatosis): Most Common Signs and Symptoms

Conclusion

Hepatic Steatosis, also called fatty liver is when the liver accumulates excess fats which become harmful to your health. Its causes include obesity, high blood sugar (diabetes), and alcoholism. On its own, Hepatic Steatosis has a low death risk and can be treated if detected early; however, it may develop into life-threatening conditions if left unattended. It is generally asymptomatic but may begin to show signs once it progresses to Cirrhosis.
