Hepatic encephalopathy is the loss of neurological functions due to the liver’s inability to flush out toxins [13]. Damaged liver allows harmful substances to create further damage in the central nervous system, which may depreciate brain health. Signs include confusion, memory loss, and slurred speech. Hepatic encephalopathy may also disrupt motor functions.
Platelets Disorder (Easy Bleeding)
Platelets are colorless and tiny blood [14] cells that aid the healing of wounds and injuries. Liver damage reduces the production of platelets that form blood clots, thereby increasing the risk of injuries and frequent nose bleeds, which will take longer periods to heal.
