Signs & Symptoms of Hepatitis A

Dark-urine

When your urine changes color from yellow to deep brown, it is typically because of high amounts of bilirubin [9] that is discharged through the kidneys. High levels of bilirubin may be attributed to the swelling of the liver cells or obstruction in the bile ducts. This symptom may also indicate that the body isn’t getting enough fluids and is dehydrated. It may also mean that there are harmful wastes that are circulating in the body. Dark brown urine is not normal in healthy people and may indicate liver disease caused by excess amounts of bilirubin in the urine.
