Schizophrenia is a complex and chronic disorder of the brain that affects about 1 percent of the United States population.
Schizophrenia comes with multiple symptoms such as behavioral difficulties, distorted thinking, or altered perception of reality. These are the most common symptoms that might imply you have schizophrenia.
Although it is no longer an official diagnosis, the term hebephrenic or disorganized schizophrenia is still used to describe a group of symptoms.
