Causes of schizophrenia
Researchers and experts are yet to discover the exact cause of schizophrenia. However, researchers have identified several contributing factors, such as:
- Genetics
- Biological factors
- Substance use
- Environmental factors
Many of these variables are suspected to interact with each other in some way to cause schizophrenia. It is also thought that different factors cause different types of schizophrenia.
