Adequate Sleep

Disrupting sleep can worsen nerve pain. Neuropathic pain worsens at night, and this makes coping with the pain difficult. Good sleeping habits help to help to improve the symptoms of neuropathic pain. Decrease the amount of caffeine consumption or anything that can affect the sleeping cycle and have a consistent sleeping pattern (at least 8 hours of sleep per day). Little sleep in the night not only disrupts daily activities it also increases nerve pain. An increase in stress (Emotional and physical) leads to the exacerbation of nerve pain. A good environment can help with sleeping, switching off the light, turning off electrical appliances, lullabies, ensure that your bed and pillows do not add extra pain or stiffness to the body.
