Dry Nose No More: 10 Effective Home Remedies to Try Today

Sesame Oil, Vitamin E Oil and Olive Oil

Sesame oil has a higher vitamin E concentration than most other oils. It is an excellent emollient for parched skin. In a study, it was shown that sesame oil relieves nasal dryness more effectively than saline irrigation [4]. The process will require organic sesame oil and a dropper.

What to do

  • Tilt your head backward and pour a drop of sesame oil in each nostril.
  • Inhale deeply so that the oil reaches the internal nasal passages.
  • Repeat this twice daily.

Because vitamin E oil [5] contains anti-inflammatory and antioxidant qualities, it helps moisturize the skin and is a suitable cure for dry nostrils. According to a study, alpha-tocopherol, a form of vitamin E, may be useful in the management of allergic rhinitis brought on by pollen. As a result, it might moisturize the nasal mucosa, alleviate dryness, and quicken the nasal passages’ healing process.

Olive oil helps hydrate the skin inside the nasal passages, thus alleviating the dryness. It also helps relieve irritation and swelling. You will need virgin olive oil and a dropper. Use the dropper to pour a few drops of olive oil into your nostrils.
