Sugary Foods

The pancreas is the organ in charge of processing most of the foods you eat. The more you eat, the more stress your pancreas is subjected to. Like when you consume high-fat foods, simple sugars also increase your triglyceride levels. This elevates the degree of fat in the blood and can significantly increase your risk for developing chronic pancreatitis. Refined carbohydrates have lots of sugar, and this stimulates the organ to release higher amounts of insulin. This eventually leads to insulin resistance which causes the pancreas to work harder.
Fruits with Seeds and Skin
Give your pancreas time to rest and heal by only eating bland and soft fruits without seeds or skin. Bananas, blueberries, cherries are good choices to be added to your diet. Vegetables like spinach and whole grains can also help fight indigestion and eliminate free radicals that inflame and damage the organs.
