Nausea

Nausea [3] is a stomach discomfort that makes an individual feel like vomiting. In pancreatitis, nausea can be a significant symptom. Generally, there are several causes of nausea. Examples of conditions linked to nausea include infection or virus, motion sickness or seasickness, and even medications or diet. If nausea is due to an infection, then it comes from bacteria and viruses affecting the stomach. This condition causes what is commonly known as food poisoning. Also, taking certain medications like chemotherapy can contribute to nausea. Motion sickness is not linked to a specific medical condition, but it occurs due to a bumpy ride on a vehicle. It causes the brain’s messages to not sync with the senses, which results in nausea. Diet is a common cause of nausea. It occurs due to overeating foods like high-fat foods or spicy ones. Other causes of nausea include ulcers, pain, and heartburn.
