Stretching the Calf

Plantar fasciitis may feel worse due to muscle tightness in the feet and calves. However, loosening the calf muscles can help in relieving the pain. This exercise is also a good lifestyle activity [5] to adopt. Start by leaning the hands against the wall, straightening the affected leg’s knee, and bending the other knee ahead of the first.
When stretching the calf, the individual needs to ensure that both feet are flat on the ground. There should also be a stretching sensation in the calf and the knee of the extended leg. The knee should be in place for 10 seconds, and the individual should repeat the process two to three times.
