Death

It is uncommon for shingles to cause immediate death. According to the CDC, less than one person per million people will die from shingles as the primary cause of mortality.
Although shingles alone seldom results in fatalities, it can cause lethal diseases including pneumonia [6] and encephalitis. [7] This is especially true for elderly individuals whose immune systems have been damaged by medical interventions for conditions like cancer and AIDS.
Shingles Treatment
While shingles can cure on its own without therapy, the condition should be treated quickly, as soon as it’s discovered to prevent consequences.
